Banana’s Brownie Recipe

Do you ever just crave a warm gooey brownie, fresh from the oven, but you don’t want to sacrifice your fitness goals for a little square of chocolate yumminess.  Trust me, you aren’t the only one.  Brownies are freaking amazing, and you should be able to enjoy them EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

This is a recipe for a protein packed microwave brownie that will knock your socks off. You may have heard of the Beltsander’s amazing recipe for a microwave protein brownie using only 4 ingredients.  His recipe is AMAZING and he is a genius, but I decided to add a little something to his base recipe since mine just weren’t turning out perfect. This recipe is inspired by @balancednotclean ‘s recipe (instagram)  for her #BalancedBeltsander {Click the link to see her Balanced Beltsander Recipe } but while she uses avocado to perfect her brownie recipe, I use BANANA. And I love the result.

I call my creation the #BananasBrownie because my name is Anna and, well, its made with bananas… you get it. Ok.

Banana’s Brownie:

  • 60g mashed banana
  • 1 scoop chocolate Quest Nutrition protein powder
  • 2 TB (10 g) hershey’s special dark cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Stevia, to taste
  • 1/3 cup milk of choice (see notes)

  1. Mash banana in bowl.
  2. Add protein, cocoa, stevia, and baking powder, and mash it into the banana until a thick dough forms.
  3. Mix in milk.
  4. Transfer to a large, microwave safe bowl.
  5. Microwave for 1 minute 10 seconds.
  6. Enjoy!

Macros for this recipe: 2F 24C 26P

I topped it with chocolate and white chocolate chips, peanut butter, and an Oreo.
