Chocolate Chip Cauliflower Pizookie

America’s two favorite foods: pizza and cookies, combined into the ultimate dessert.  A Pizookie.

BJ’s Brewhouse is notorious for their trademark Pizookie, decadent and melt in your mouth delicious.  And, unfortunately, FULL of calories, carbs, and fats.  While I am all for getting in some carbs and fats in moderation, those 4 inch little treats are 580 calories, 68 carbs and 23 fat :(! There has got to be a better option…

And wait, THERE IS!

This Chocolate Chip Protein Pizookie has size (8 inch diameter), 33 grams of protein, hidden vegetables, and only 390 calories for the entire thing!  Here’s the recipe:

Chocolate Chip Cauliflower Protein Pizookie:

  1. Just made this tonight! It was good…my only difficulty with eating it was the slight cauliflower taste…any tips? I cooked it in a dish that was a bit deeper, so wondering if I used a more shallow baking dish, it would crisp up and lose more of the liquid/mush that may be more of the cauliflower.

    1. Unfortunately, it will probably still taste cauliflowery. I am going to try to add a tb of molasses next time I bake it to see if that helps it become crispy, but I haven’t tried that yet, so I can’t vouch for it actually working haha I’m sorry that you didn’t like the cauliflower taste, however it is made mostly of cauliflower, so it is to be expected. 🙂
